The 4 piece band formed in 2021 in Nelson BC and have written a catalogue of original songs that have captivated audiences across the Kootenays. Often joined by a drummer for live shows, The Heavy Lighters don’t shy away from pushing the boundaries of bluegrass to give audiences an exceptional experience all while staying rooted in the earnest songwriting which forms their foundation.
